A massive city of marble and steel built atop a high mountain. The upper class of Highseat and its tradesmen have created a seat of Swassian power that is by and far the most magnificent city in The Sowlands and perhaps in all of Marn. However, there is scantly a middle class and the peasants of Highseat are forced to work the land beneath the mountains, and the quarries and mines of the city in what is all but indentured servitude.
