D'Min The largest city in The Eastern Wastes. Constructed from the shells of massive insects and the bones of the ancient dead, D'min is a city of the past, a memory of what was and a largely unoccupied, but still upkept above-ground catacomb. |

Eastern Wastes On the fringes of The Sowlands, The Eastern Wastes are only mildly mountainous, being instead mainly just a flat and seemingly unending, great expanse of grey and black sand. Sticking up from the ground, travelers can occasionally see the uppermost portions of buried and ancient, crumbling, grey sandstone towers. |

The Northern Wastes The Northern Wastes are almost exclusively flat and contained entirely by the mountains of the Central Wastes. It is here that the most violent and reclusive tribes of Marnish natives live. Perhaps making up some of the most skilled light and heavy cavalry on the planet, and recently having been united by a powerful warlord, if the Nothern Marns ever find a way to bypass the Central Mountains of the Kakarsin Wastes, then the rest of the world could very well be in for a terrible surprise. |

The Central Wastes The center of the Kakarsin Wastes. Here you will find towering and flat, column-like mountains of grey stone. The occasional tower of black sandstone can be seen reaching towards the sky at the end of the path of some weathered stairway or another. Violent sandstorms are very, very common in the central wastes, and strange noises can often be heard pouring forth from the many deep, deep gashes in the land, but only at night. |

The Southern Wastes The Southern Wastes are a vast expanse of very loosely packed black sand, which has a consistency much like that of deep and powdery snow. Portions of The Southern are highly unstable to travel on foot, and there is not a single tale of anyone ever surviving who has fallen into a sinkhole in the southern portion of The Wastes. In response to this natural danger, many of the Southern Marns utilize giant insects, who can skirt the loose sands, as mounts, when they need to travel. |

The Western Wastes The Western Wastes are almost entirely made up of jagged, towering cliffs and cracked and crumbling, disconnected landmasses that are falling away into an invading sea. There is word of strange creatures, who do not resemble any of the fauna of the rest of The Wastes, having been sighted by travelers traversing the cliffs. |
